To protect against the spread of COVID-19, we continue to take precautionary measures recommended by local, state and federal health agencies. Despite these ongoing efforts, we can confirm that additional residents and team members of our Edgemere community in Dallas have tested positive for COVID-19.

This is an extremely challenging situation, and we are working to be as open and transparent as we can while respecting the privacy of those involved. The health and safety of our residents and team members at Edgemere, and all of our communities, is our singular focus and we ask for your ongoing support as we all navigate this unprecedented pandemic together.

In addition to these protocols, we continue to screen approved visitors and our team members before they enter the community.  We also check the temperatures of team members at the beginning and end of each shift.

We understand that physical distancing restrictions should not mean “social isolation,” and we are working with our residents to encourage them to maintain virtual connections with their families and through technology such as computers, tablets and smartphones.

Please continue to monitor this site for additional updates. We feel fortunate to have the community that we do – to have residents and team members offering to help one another and families contacting us daily to find ways to assist those inside and outside of our community.
