We want to provide you with an update on our Edgemere community and the ongoing health and wellness of our residents amid the COVID-19 pandemic.

As of Thursday, April 2, we have six active resident cases of COVID-19. Four of the residents are being cared for in isolation in the Edgemere Health Center, and the other residents are being treated in the hospital.

We continue to work closely with Dallas County Health and Human Services (DHHS), and we are fully complying with the health agency’s recommendations. As we previously indicated, DHHS was onsite Monday and Tuesday conducting contact tracing. In cooperation with DHHS, we tested a number of additional residents on Monday and Tuesday, and the majority of the test results received to date have been negative.
