We want to provide you with an encouraging update on our Edgemere community and the ongoing health and wellness of our residents amid the COVID-19 pandemic.

As we previously indicated, Dallas County Health and Human Services (DHHS) was onsite earlier this week conducting contact tracing. In cooperation with DHHS, we tested a number of additional residents throughout the week, and the majority of those test results have been negative. We received 19 additional test results today and all of those test results came back negative. We are cautiously encouraged by this update and we thank our community for continuing to adhere to protocols in place.

As of Thursday, April 2, we have six active resident cases of COVID-19. Four of the residents are

being cared for in isolation in the Edgemere Health Center, and the other residents are being treated in the hospital. There are no active cases in residential living.
